Ms. Alecia Stancil

Alecia Stancil recently served as the GO-TEC Training Coordinator for Region 5 at the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR). In this role, she provided ongoing program support and delivered comprehensive training to GO TEC educators, ensuring the successful setup and operation of middle school lab equipment across her region.
A former middle school Life Science teacher, Alecia has five years of experience in education, including two years as the 7th-grade department lead.
Alecia holds a Bachelor of Science in general biology from Virginia Union University, reflecting her commitment to advancing science education. Now, she’s excited to be joining the ODU Lab School team, where she looks forward to contributing her expertise to further enhance educational opportunities for students.
