Rachele Hirsch-Brooks is an award-winning leader in STEM and science education with over 16 years of experience in curriculum development, educator coaching, and program innovation. As the STEM and Science Specialist for Suffolk Public Schools, she designs and oversees K-12 STEM and science initiatives, aligning instruction with Virginia’s standards of learning while fostering creativity and critical thinking in classrooms.
Rachele’s leadership is exemplified by her recognition as a recipient of the Nancy King Leadership Award and her nomination for Computer Science Educator of the Year. She has driven impactful district-wide programs such as the STEM Extravaganza, professional development for computer science facilitators, and STEM activities for the LEAP Summer Program. She empowers educators by integrating technologies like robotics, coding, and engineering design into instruction, creating engaging and innovative learning experiences.
A proven leader in data-driven decision-making, Rachele also specializes in K-12 assessment development, data analysis, and facilitating professional learning communities.
