Our Mission
Old Dominion University’s Center for Educational Innovation and Opportunity (1) is the hub for ODU’s lab school network, (2) serves as the fiscal agent or lead partner for the nine schools in the ODU lab school network, (3) coordinates best practices and research between lab schools across the Commonwealth of Virginia, (4) provides subject matter expertise to lab school leaders in Virginia, (5) promotes a culture of innovation across Virginia’s K-12 and higher education institutions, (6) identifies strategies to develop and scale innovative educational programs and initiatives in the Commonwealth.

ODU Lab Schools
The Lab School Network
The ODU Lab School Network consists of 9 schools: 4 ODU-specific partnerships and 5 additional partner schools connected with other colleges and universities across the Commonwealth of Virginia. Through this network, the Center aims to lead educational innovation and research.
