Graduate Assistant - AAES
Brett is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Old Dominion University, where his research focuses on composite materials and manufacturing processes. Originally from Virginia, he became a graduate assistant with the Aerospace Academy of the Eastern Shore because he enjoys helping students discover opportunities in aerospace and providing hands-on experiences that can inspire future careers. He is especially looking forward to working alongside students as they develop technical skills through exciting engineering projects.
A fun fact about him is that he founded the ODU Rocketry Club and has helped design, build, and launch high-power rockets to 10,000 feet during the International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC).
